You may not throw or distribute any objects out to the crowd, at any point, during the parade walk/ride (no candy, toys, stickers, balloons, etc).
There is NO use of water projection on the parade route (such as balloons or squirt guns)—either from the viewers or parade participants.
You must stay in the parade order that is assigned to you.
Be respectful of the land areas and personal property around you.
Please note that the road will have minimal car permission beginning at 8am on the 4th of July. Please see attached map and plan accordingly.
THE ROAD WILL BE COMPLETELY CLOSED TO ALL non-emergency TRAFFIC FROM 9-10:30am.
from 9-10:30am, the road of the parade route is closed because children will be ON the road. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience but it is absolutely necessary for safety. We will not allow guests, residents, food delivery, etc. NO traffic except emergency vehicles. Please be prepared in advance. (The closure is not an option but a legal mandate. Please do not argue with those security and police officers who will be on-site that day to enforce this.)
Parade planners will be sharing this notification via social media, HOA news feeds, word of mouth, and any other avenue possible. There will inevitably be some who may not receive the strict road closure notification. Please kindly pass this along to them. Thank you!
